Stynke Castelein is hoofd van de Research afdeling van GGZ instelling Lentis. Als hoogleraar herstelbevordering bij ernstige psychische aandoeningen is zij daarnaast verbonden aan de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. Ze is promotor van ruim een dozijn promovendi binnen de GGZ. Ook is ze landelijk betrokken (geweest) bij het ontwikkelen van behandelrichtlijnen en de waarborging van kwaliteit van zorg als bestuurslid binnen AKWA GGZ. Ze heeft een groot (inter)nationaal netwerk en is onder andere werkzaam als bestuurslid van ENMESH (European Network for Mental Health Service Evaluation). Tevens is zij redactielid van het tijdschrift Participatie en Herstel. Onderwijs geeft zij aan studenten en aan zorgmedewerkers, over de nieuwste ontwikkelingen in de geestelijke gezondheidszorg.
Jojanneke Bruins is senior onderzoeker bij Lentis Research. Als co-promotor leidt zij diverse promovendi op tot onderzoeker. Daarnaast begeleidt ze ook veel GZ-psychologen in de specialistenopleiding tot Klinisch Psycholoog en masterstudenten bij het doen van wetenschappelijk onderzoek. Eén van de zaken waar zij zich hard voor maakt is onderzoek beschikbaar maken voor een breed publiek. Dit doet ze bijvoorbeeld door korte, eenvoudige YouTube filmpjes te maken, waarin ze uitlegt wat er uit de onderzoeken is gekomen waar zij bij betrokken is geweest. Maar ook door behandelaren in de zorg les te geven over hoe zij geschikte wetenschappelijke literatuur kunnen vinden voor zorgvragen waar ze tegenaan lopen, en hoe ze deze literatuur kunnen beoordelen.

Stynke Castelein is head of the Research department at Lentis Psychiatric Institute. As a professor of promoting recovery in severe mental illness, she is affiliated with the University of Groningen. She is promotor of over a dozen PhD students within mental health care services. Nationally she is/has been involved in the development of treatment guidelines and ensuring the quality of mental health care as board member of AKWA GGZ. She had a great (inter)national network and, among others, she serves on the board of ENMESH (European Network for Mental Health Service Evaluation). She is also editor of the Dutch journal Participatie en Herstel. She educates students and mental health care workers about the recent developments in mental health care.
Jojanneke Bruins is senior research at Lentis Psychiatric facility. As a co-promotor she educates several PhD students to become researchers. Furthermore, she supervises the scientific research projects of many registered psychologists during their specialization to become Clinical Psychologists, as well as Master students of the University of Groningen. One of the things she stands for is making research available for a broad audience. She does so by making short, simple YouTube videos, in which she explains the findings of the research projects that she is involved in. But also by educating mental health care professionals about how they can find appropriate scientific literature to answer the questions that pop up during their daily clinical work, and how they can adequately assess the quality of this literature.
